Hi, folks. We’re sorry this is taking a while. We’re working with the Outlook team on this now.
@Tobi No man, hahah, you're funny... this is just where customer ideas and requests go to die a miserable slow death...
Any news on this topic?

Taking a while? Taking a while? Douglas, the definition of a while seems to be on a biblical calendar...
ahhhgggggg... this makes me angry... why is this broken? Still?
Damian Kutzias commented
It would be fine (and necessary in my opinion) to have an option to turn off the auto creation of predefined folders. Every time i delete the two folders "Dokumente" and "Anlagen" (german names, might be "documents" and "attachments" in english), they reappear again. That is an absolute annoyance and prevent me from having a clean folder structure and a good overview.
Now they are requiring email to vote... they don't like our angry voting...
This is crazy... its like its more aggressive now. The folder shows up constantly now, all the time, I delete, it appears, I delete, it appears.
one year later and still happening, no fix still?

******* stupid microsoft... get your stupid app team together and fix this stupid bug. it is a BUG. FIX IT YOU STUPID POOOOPIE HEADS.
I will add my voice to this. I use One Drive to store my files and to hold backups, and I have a very strict way to sort, organize and index things - you could say I suffer form "Digital OCD".
AND THESE DAMNED FOLDERS JUST MAKE ME WISH TO SPLIT THE HEAD OF THE PERSON WHO INVENTED THEM WITH MY AXE, JUST LIKE I WOULD DO WITH A MELLON.
So, Microsoft, please remove these **** pre-formatted folder structure YOU think is best for us, users, because in the end, you don't really care or understand our needs.
Your folders or our folders, we both know you will keep seeing, indexing and using our personal information to make money with - Windows 10 looks like a virus disguised as an OS - so at least let us have things the way we like with our files.

They must have eliminated Doug because he spoke up FOR us poor peasant folks...

At lease give your poor peasant folk an update Douglas Pearce. My guess is Douglas has moved on to a more with-it company...
Hear, Hear. . . Just one more perplexed, astonished, and frustrated user adding his small, tiny, insignificant voice (as far as Microsoft is concerned) to the growing discontent amongst the maddening crowd. . .
I grow frustrated and angry with Microsoft

Doug, why are you working with Outlook? It isn't the Outlook teams problem. This is the MOBILE APP TEAM. Get your H1B friends together and get this **** fixed! Disgraceful how long it is taking you guys.
Satya N. commented
This is a mobile app issue, and the internal (dis)organization of Microsoft can't communicate to fix the issue. Can someone please escalate this internally? I am tempted to start bugging Satya about the dysfunction of his people...
it's been a year and you guys haven't fixed this issue
Angry Guy commented
This is still taking for ever... I don't think its just the outlook team, I think the internal teams at microsoft cannot communicate effectively to eliminate this issue... this is a mobile app issue. I don't even have outlook installed and it does this constantly
MS, can you once speed up your development? Let me answer this for you, of course you can't...
It is ridiculous that a minor thing like that takes one year to fix... I have enough and will leave for Dropbox. Goodbye and thank you MS for not listening to your users :-)
Hiding the folder, it just shows back up again... stupid microsoft... can't they get their act together on this simple thing?
