I'd love to see a setting that allows you to designate a folder from one device for offline use on ALL my OneDrive connected devices.
I'd love to see a setting that allows one to centrally designate a folder for offline use on ALL and/or specific other devices that are connected to One Drive. It would be like a "pushed to devices" offline folder.
I'd love to see this option enabled so that any OneDrive connected device could designate which folders will be set for offline use on a user's other OneDrive connected devices. At a minimum I'd like to see this implemented as an option within OneDrive on Windows and OneDrive.com.
A hypothetical scenario in which I see this being helpful: A user has a large desktop/laptop with space to handle all their files but also has a space limited secondary smaller laptop, phone and tablet all running OneDrive. The user has created a Folder on their desktop knowing they will need access to the Folder and it's files while away on a flight without internet access for a business trip but they can't travel with the device on which the Folder and it's files are being originally created. Currently to enable Offline access on their other devices they would have go to each other device individually, manually select the folder in question and then enable Offline Access on each device.
If there was a central setting to "push" the desired folder to being enabled accessible Offline on each of these devices it would make the process faster and more efficient. It might also be that the user only chooses to "push" the folder into Offline accessibility on their tablet and secondary laptop but not to their phone.
I think this would also be a wonderful solution to setting up new devices wherein certain folders could be designated as "Available Offline to All Other Current and NOneDrive Connected Devices". This would shrink the checklist for setting up new devices if a user wants to be sure that a specific folder is available on all their devices as they setup new ones.
