increase the file upload limit
Please increase the file upload limit from 15GB! With ever increasing file sizes from the media workflow, especially with 4K content, the 15GB limit can be quite a bummer at times!

We are rolling out 100GB for both the business and consumer services this month (November 2019).

Thanks for the update Steve and while 100GB is certainly an improvement... matching or exceeding Google’s limit would be ideal... can’t wait to vote on your submission next month :)

We bought the service with the requirement to store large files, somewhere around 600GB, which are point cloud processing results files.
The partner company that sold the service did not meet this requirement, saying it was possible to store large files. It is frustrating that we are deploying the solution and meeting this important requirement for us. -

There was an announcement today (Microsoft Ignite) that the file size limit is being increased to 100GB.
Thanks for the increase, OneDrive team! This will keep me satiated for a while. Stay tuned next month when I'll post a new UserVoice suggestion to match Google Drive's 5TB file size limit :-P

This is extremely frustrating, it's almost 2020 - 15GB is way too restrictive! I need to back up my VMs and don't want to risk storing them in multipart form. Sort this out guys or I'll have to take my business elsewhere.

Any updates to provide? We're attempting to select between GSuite and office 365 and don't want to perform this migration twice. Knowing what is being worked on and when it will be delivered will help our org determine the best service provider. @Randy any updates to provide as it's been a few months. - Thx

This is taking way too long to resolve. The 15gb size limited should have been done by now. Its not like you guys are writing an API for MS Stream. I am about to give up and go use Google or dropbox.

Please increase the individual file upload limit to Terabytes or your valued customers like me are going to shift to Google Drives that provides an individual file upload limit to 5 TB. Please concern our opinions and update your policies of limiting the upload size.

Please increase the file upload limit from 15GB to 100GB! We are a transport company and our data is too large. We are using Microsoft 365 business premium account because we have to upload too large data and share them. Can you please enable this option for our company.

I also regularly share 50+ GB files with a partner company. It has worked well until recently. My client has already abandoned OneDrive for Dropbox. It is costing both of our companies time and money since we've been using OneDrive for two years to coordinate our efforts. I just want the services for which I pay to work consistently. I'd rather not set up the file structure and copy all the files over to Dropbox, but I will if I have to. I'll not have a fractured file structure over two platforms for, "the next few months.

This size limit removes all of the other selling points / advantages of OneDrive.
We are thinking of moving to Dropbox / Google Drive

I'm really confused why this is a thing. I just uploaded a 17 GB file and wondered why it didn't sync. Now i see why. Microsoft, what good is "unlimited space in OneDrive Business" if the max file size is 15 GB? It's almost 2020. That's insane. It's very annoying that I cannot use the product as I expect.
