increase the file upload limit
Please increase the file upload limit from 15GB! With ever increasing file sizes from the media workflow, especially with 4K content, the 15GB limit can be quite a bummer at times!
This change has been fully rolled out to 100%. The new limit is 100GB. We recommend testing using the Desktop client.
Having you archive in the cloud of Microsoft, it also has to archive .pst files from Outlook. Currently the maximum size is limited to 15 GB. Most .pst files are larger. Therefore the maximum size must be increased signicantly. Otherwise OneDrive is not a mature cloud solution for archiving.

That's insane 15 GB limit is not good when you deal with large data. Specially when you migrate from source to OneDrive. This is huge roadblock

We have users with Outlook Archive files that we need to reside on the local Documents folder, and synced with OneDrive. We also need this to allow for the Search in Outlook to work. When the Archive file is on a network drive, it becomes unsearchable. However, many users have large Archive files, and in some cases, larger than the 15GB limit. If our user's Archive files aren't being synced with OneDrive, and they lose them, it will have a major impact on operations.

This doesn't just affect OneDrive, this is also a SharePoint document library limitation (essentially what OneDrive uses in the back end).
If MS want us to move our file shares to SharePoint they need to support upload and sync of larger files.
Please increase the upload limit!

Esta na hora de aumentar, o tempo gasto para "quebrar" um arquivo e compactar ele novamente para so depois subir é inviável.
This is something that needs to be implemented for business to get any real use out of the storage options...
They clearly want to discourage large data files and only have people using files/folders instead of zip archives and large individual files...
Also they seem to be trying reduce the load on their servers which in part I can understand.
I just think that if you want people to find value in your service and your offering storage to Business's then this is a must, at least 100GB blocks. Otherwise people will use other storage solutions...
Limit the personal OneDrive by all means. but not the Business OneDrive
Yes, please increase
I wanted to implement onedrive service for our organisation needs, but due to these limits I have no other option than moving to another backup cloud.
going back to Google Drive ... they have this awesome feature of saving your large files as well as the small ones.
Why don’t they respond
I have some large video files, and reason I like OneDrive is that I can save these family memories in the Cloud. I am able to save all my files except on 33 GB high definition file. I had to go to Google Drive to save it away.
I’ve been asking for this for 2 years and all I ever get is ‘we’ll send this to our concern team.’ Time for Microsoft to get it’s collective head out of it’s a— and provide a feature all users can use instead of fluff features that only benefit a handful of users.

Please increase file size limit. Been 20 months since this post.
I have an Office 365 Business Premium account with 1TB OneDrive storage and a 50GB Exchange mailbox. I may want to backup my Exchange periodically and store in my OneDrive but can't do it due to the 15GB file size limit. Please fix this, the file size limit needs to be increased - it doesn't even match your Exchange mailboxes never mind the competition!!!
What's the value of giving us 1 TB of storage space in OneDrive if we're limited to a 15 GB file size? I'll be storing video in Google Drive.
Any status / feedback from MICROSOFT would be welcome.
Much needed in the media industry
Yes, with increasing file sizes, larger databases of content and HD/4k content, 15gb is being hit now in our team fairly regularly.
