increase the file upload limit
Please increase the file upload limit from 15GB! With ever increasing file sizes from the media workflow, especially with 4K content, the 15GB limit can be quite a bummer at times!
This change has been fully rolled out to 100%. The new limit is 100GB. We recommend testing using the Desktop client.
I really do enjoy the Office 365 experience. However for my personal use, GSuite provides a overall better experience for my dollar. It would be very beneficial if Microsoft could meet or match with the basic GSuite services such as Google drive. Unlimited Drive storage, 5tb max file size, unlimited files. If Microsoft could adapt this, I would switch in a heartbeat. In addition to backing up and syncing without having to save locally. Including on servers. (Including Windows servers). If Microsoft could adapt an office 365 subscription, unlimited OneDrive storage, with at least 5TB file size, unlimited daily upload in data and outlook for as cheap or better than about 10-15CAD/mo/user that would make me switch in a heartbeat. (Sorry for the run-on).
if you guys still dont remove this shi* limit i think most of the unlimited customer will choose to quit and go for Gsuite

This is very necessary in our business. We have data files that often go 25 to 35 gb in size. Thank you

So where are Microsoft promise? After 500votes they still don't give a fu*k to users request?

Our business switched from Dropbox to OneDrive recently. After finding out there is a 15 gb limitation on file sizes I think we have to reconsider. We work with large media files, and the idea is to be able to work directly in the oneDrive folder. This is not possible if you're required to compress and split files in order to sync! Microsoft only incrementally increased this limit, going from a ridiculous 2 GB limit previously. Please remove the limit or make it as big as the competition. Google has a 5 TB limit.
I just ordered the $7,- monthly licence, but unaware Microsoft has a upload limit of 15GB. What the ****? As a videographer this service just became useless. I'll contact support to cancel my subscription asap.
Please do add support for larger files. Otherwise I need a separate system just to manage them.
Hello, 15GB max file size imposes a limit that nowadays is seen as restriction for many users in business environment. I would understand the design frame in which onedrive was originally created, but limit the flexibility to grow and be able to handle these limits in a practical way should have been also part of this design.
Please MS onedrive team, work on in making onedrive a platform flexible that can quickly adapt to business needs.
Unfortunately, MS has this limit. This feature request has been sitting here for ages.
Think we should all move to Google Drive or Dropbox as they don't have this limit.

Yes please. We need this in my organisation as well, a 15GB file is not considdered very big here. It's 2018, get your TB game on Microsoft, please increase the limit to as high as you can, or better yet remove it entirely.

Yet Another User Report. Its a bummer that these limits exist.
15gb limit is a real shame.
I work with videos that weigh more than 15 Gb. I need to upload files of 5o Gb or more.

i need upload 50Gb files, please.
we need to store 4k uncompressed video samples on sharepoint online since working in the media industry and o365 is getting a lot of bad press because of this 15GB limitation.. People use dropbox instead then....

Well, this is embarrassing. It reminded me of 2004 when Gmail launched with 1GB of free storage -- more than 100 times what Yahoo! and Hotmail offered in their free versions at that time.
Now, in 2018, with paid customers, Microsoft hasn’t learned that when it comes to file size more is more. In all industries, not just media, the data size is exploding. 1TB should be the minimum.

Please have this file upload limit increase. With 4k videos around, 10GB is not really enough.
