Unable to delete folders if contains files
Cannot delete folder in Onedrive. We receive error message "You have to delete all the items in this folder before you can delete the folder".
Got update that DLP policy or Retention policy is causing this issue
We want to fix this issue by product team

The fact that you cannot delete folders in bulk is crazy. This needs to be fixed. We are trying to migrate all of our company data over to OneDrive and use Microsoft for all of our storage needs. However, this feature is a major issue for us. When data is duplicated or moved accidentally, there is no way to delete it from OneDrive. This pegs out the storage size and requires our techs to manually delete data, file by file, for a massive amount of data inside of a folder or folders. Please change this feature! Thank you.
Please fix this! We should be able to delete multiple folders and folders inside of folders, quickly without going into many, many folders to delete data. Thank you.

Allow folders to be deleted even if folder is not empty. Right now I have thousands of nested folders and I just can deal with all of them.
Yes, this is an absolute nightmare. Please change this policy.
You are absolutely right.
I need to delete many subfolders before deleting the main folder: it is a nightmare!
Then below that it reads:
A personal OneDrive folder does not need to be empty before you delete it. However, you may want to check beforehand that there are no files or sub-folders within it that you want to keep.
A work or school OneDrive for Business folder must be empty before you can delete it."

Please make the ability to delete folders in OneDrive with items in it. This is misleading by Microsoft.
"Note: A folder does not need to be empty before you delete it. However, you may want to check beforehand that there are no files or sub-folders within it that you want to keep."
