Ability to search within the Files/Folders that have been shared with you.

I too must have a search feature in One Drive shared folders. I don't see that feature anywhere. I will probably have to move everything to Google Drive or Dropbox.
In reply to K Rodriguez. If you map a network drive to your shared files with Zee Drive then you can search the files shared with you using the Zee Drive search feature accessible from the File Explorer context menu. You can find out more about Zee Drive here: http://www.thinkscape.com/Map-Network-Drives-To-Office-365-OneDrive/
Disclosure: I work for the company that develops Zee Drive

Big downside of OneDrive. Our organization is forcing us to move stuff to OneDrive and share from there, but we can’t use the search function to dig out stuff from shared folders, even on the web interface. Terrible.
Onedrive PR asked me to post this here so I am
But having search for public folders makes a lot of sense if you have very large folders
As file tags are supported (both Exif image tags, and ones you control on OneDrive) in search, this allows users to easily find a file, or multiple files under the search query
Case in point

Why this is even a limitation is stupid.
Any updates here ?

Right now if you search a filer name that has been shared with you (not by you) in the top-left search box, no result will be shown.
Because of not having this feature my company switch their OneDrive to GoogleDrive, we have one account with a lot of files that are shared to all of our employees, and they want to be able to search through all those files.
