Do not include my CID in file sharing links
When you share an item on OneDrive.com, whether to the public or to specific people, you get a link that contains the resource ID of that item. The resource ID consists of a (16-character hexadecimal) CID that identifies the account and a sequence number that identifies the shared item.
The CID can be quite revealing about the account owner. For example, anyone can see his/her name (and previously also picture) on OneDrive.com. This might discourage people from sharing links with a large number of unfamiliar people (e.g., on social networks).
(On storage.live.com one can learn even more about the account, such as creation time, space granted and used on OneDrive.com, and what product(s) the account owner has used in the past.)
