"Show photos from" only offers 2 options:
- All folders: this includes ALL onedrive folders from my account, for example if I have a folder with thousands of images for a machine learning image recognition experiment, this gets mixed up with my personal photos, obviously NOT a good option
- the only other option is "Pictures" folder - ONLY this one level folder, NOT the subfolders - when I select this option, and then go to OneDrive > Photos, only photos from up to about 2018 are shown, and some weird "Suggested" albums are shown on top where some sample "recent" pictures are shown, but I am not allowed to browse all recent pictures, there is no suggested album with "all pictures" -- this is also NOT a good option, it is a very frustrating experience, because for example the mobile OneDrive app DOES show ALL recent pictures, while the Web app DOES NOT.

I found out that it seems that when the upload option in the "Organize New Uploads" setting in the mobile app is set to Month (or Year) instead of "None", OneDrive uploads the pictures under for example "My files > Photos > SkyDrive camera roll > 2020 > 12" for Dec 2020 pictures. But the setting "Show photos from" : "Pictures" folder will only allow you browsing photos from exactly "My files > Photos > SkyDrive camera roll", not photos in subfolders, meaning that "My files > Photos > SkyDrive camera roll > 2020 > 12" is excluded.

The only other option available is "All folders" , that does show "My files > Photos > SkyDrive camera roll > 2020 > 12" pictures, but actually shows any images in "My files > <any folder>" / any subfolder under that

It would be great if the "Pictures" folder option would recognize Pictures subfolders also, that the OneDrive mobile app uses to upload and organize pictures, so they don't get hidden, or add a 3rd option "Pictures folder and subfolders", so not the whole universe of .img/.jpgs in the subscription's files show in the "Photos" presentation.
