Add a notification possibility for download links
I'm using OneDrive a lot for giving customers a download link for making files available
I'm able to configure an expiration date but it would be great to have a notification by email
when the file is downloaded so I can remove it.
Great suggestion. Thank you!
Maybe switching over to DP then

This is must have feature as wetransfer and Dropbox have this feature which notify by email when you send a download link to a person then it send me confirmation then that person has received download link and when that person download the file then I receive notification email again that the person whom I shared the link of that file has successfully download
I agree and have been asking about this for a while now, we need actions such as when someone opens/views or downloads a file to show in the activity log at minimum. Right now I only see activity if a file is added/created or edited.
This is basic stuff we expect and get from other providers of document sharing platforms. Please please take a look at adding this feature ASAP, thinking about it for TWO years is not good.
Notification will have the user as well, especially external, providing their email address.
Makes no sense this feature is not there. Seems like a very simple thing to implement.
