Allow Sharing of large Folders without Error
Allow Sharing of large folders without the error
'Sharing Failed: the attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold enforced by the administrator'
This happens on folders within OneDrive for Business which have more than 5k items within the folder.
This is a major flaw in the sharing system as certain small business types need to be able to have a folder shared out to a customer (external user) but only have 1 internal user with access.
An example of this is any small business that uses AutoCAD, any 3D rendering software, or animation software. What happens in these situations is that 1 file will generate a large number of files, that are subsidiary child files, used for each part or step of the process. In some cases 1 animation file can have upwards of 300 or more children files per minute of animation.
