Allow bulk sharing and unsharing
I would like the ability to individually select multiple files and folders, or produce a list of files by doing a search - and bulk share/unshare.
Example: I have 5000 photo's across 35 folders and they all include a tag with a persons name. I want to be able to search for that tag, see the files and select all and share with that person.
Example 2: I save various work files to my OneDrive and want to select 30 out of 50 files and share with my colleagues.
Thanks for the suggestion! This isn’t in our plans right now but we’ll continue to monitor desire here and consider this for future improvement!
Agrrr. this is frustrating! Why it's 2019!!
I agree. This feature is needed. I want to create pdf's with customized lists of named links that my clients' can use to retrieve documents that pertain to them. Currently, I have to go through the tedious process of creating a link for each document after I deselect "recipient can edit" and change it to "view only", then I have to copy the link, go to my document, type the name for the link, then paste the link behind the name. I have about 90 links to do... not fun.

Bizarre that Microsoft is completely igonoring such a simply request. I have 200+ shared links. Do they expect me to go true a painful process of deleting every link manually (takes about 1 minute for each link)?!?
Wondering if MS developers have so much spare time to do this with there own Onedrive
Why is MS not responding? Tought they said they will respond to every everything if there are at least 200 votes?

Need this ASAP
I am a 4-year experience OneDrive user. Till now, more than hundred share links were created. Since most of the shared files are not using for sharing now, It would be great to add the function to delete all the links.
Today is the 11th of October 2018, 3+ years after this post was submitted. This request has still been completely ignored.
This feature is essential to handle security incidents and yet this feature is completely overlooked.
This is essential especially the unsharing in bulk - the current process of having to go into each document to unshared is time consuming and lead to potential data breaches for MS customers.
Just found a 2010 post with the same question from old local windows shares. Come on Microsoft!
My company decided to migrate from Google to M$. The connections were maintained in the transition, so now I have over 300 individually shared files that I have to unshare manually.
It's only been 2 weeks and I miss Google so much :'(
YES, WHEN IS THIS BEING IMPLEMENTED ALREADY. DATE TODAY is 2018 april 15!!!!
All I did was put the files in a folder and shared it with said person
Being able just to simply bulk 'unshare' should be an essential security feature (especially since you're able to share with just a link only). I'd settle for just being able to go to the 'shared by me' menu and click 'unshare all'.
Ok.. I figured out a way to do it... experiment with a few files first.
Open "Shared Files" in the iOS OneDrive app.
Select All Shared items.
Click Delete above. (This will delete all the shared files sending them to the Recycle Bin)
Open OneDrive on a computer, Goto Recycle Bin and click "
The files will return to the folders they were in, and the sharing will be removed.
Worked for me...
Remember, try it will a few files first.
It should be trivial to unshare. Select multiple files and press a new 'Unshare' button when under the 'Shared' side bar.
Hope this helps someone. More Office 365/Onedrive but maybe it's very similar to just the OneDrive cloud platform. ;)
AGREE. Please integrate this already. The fact that I have to unshare each item manually is very time consuming.
Agree with all of the above!
Almost want to stop using OneDrive as I have 97 files I need to share with 4 people and I'm very bored setting it all up.
Oh and if the dropdown 'list' of people to add could be larger to allow more than only 2 names at a time, that may help a bit :/
I can delete, copy, move and share multiple selected files and folders on OneDrive.com, however, I am unable to easily unshare them in one go.
