Upload to a shared folder without loging in
Make it possible to create a share forlder with Bill, send the link to him at firstname.lastname@example.org and let Bill just click on the link and download/upload files to that folder without signing. Folders could also be password protected so that Bill needs to write that to enter the folder.
Sharing links that work for “Anyone with the link” are supported in OneDrive for files and folders.
Eugene, you should probably rephrase boo it's done for download only :)
But they still need a login
Unfortunately "Boom! It's done" is not true. I just had a conversation with support and they said "Users with the link cannot upload new items"! The same sentence is even in this link: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Share-OneDrive-files-and-folders-9fcc2f7d-de0c-4cec-93b0-a82024800c07
So I've created a new idea with the same content as this one is closed:
Still does not work with OneDrive home, right?
I support your idea too, and I think it's nearly the same as the suggestion over here - http://onedrive.uservoice.com/forums/262982-onedrive/suggestions/6537704-request-that-someone-sends-a-file-to-me.

Forcing external users to sign into a MS account to view/edit folders is proving to be a major hassle for me - really support this idea
Same thing. Had to use Google Drive b/c the other person didn't have a MS acct.
Yes they really should remove the limitation that a 3rd party needs to login with a MS account before he is able to upload files in a shared folder. I've had it a couple of times the last days. We shared a folder with some people, but not all had a MS account. Result: we used another cloud service.
