  2. Allow _vti_ in folder and file names

One drive is used to store all sorts of file, not just productivity documents. If you want to store an eclipse work space or a website, in OFB you can't because of this restriction. This makes competing products look more attractive. Why are these blocked and can that restriction be removed?

  3. Failure to support ReFS in personal OneDrive -- as it is in OD4B - ruins admin experience

Ideally, we could harmoniously deploy the features that separately convinced us to buy in to the Microsoft vision (M365, O365, EMS, Windows 10 Professional for Workstations and Windows 10 Enterprise). OD4B and OD worked harmoniously on NTFS volumes, OD4B works beautifully on ReFS -- but despite running on the identical sync client OD fails to support ReFS at all. OD fails to support "protect important files" on corporate devices, but recently it's announced (and we implemented) directing all those system Known Folders that populate "This PC" to reside in OD4B on ReFS. I am unsure if we're chasing your capabilities,…

  4. OneDrive storage size should not use the local Disk Drive space. Local Disk is full due to to data from OneDrive.

My OneDrive storage is using the capacity of my local Disk Drive, so the local disk is now full. I want to make space on my local PC and make the OneDrive storage size not counting for my local disk drive. How to do this without loosing data? Local Disk Drive should not be full due to OneDrive storage usage.

  5. Possibility to check how many users decide to use KFM

When you have prompted users to use KFM user can decide to do so or not. Currently there's no way to check how many users in organisation decided to move Windows Known Folders. This would be very useful for testing before using silently KFM.

  6. Sign out from all sessions

I would like to be able to log out my OneDrive account from other devices. This is a security measure that other suppliers been having for a long time and you should to.

  7. A businessplan for one user and at least 5 TB of storage

Small datadriven businesses still often need more than 1 TB of storage, but it is not viable to pay for 5 userlicenses.

  8. Azure report from OneDrive

We have company secrets in drawing files. I need a report from Azure to show all users with a certain file extension in their OneDrive. I would like the filename, file extension, date added to OneDrive. Also a option to email this report from the console.

  9. Disable external OneDrive sharing per user

Disable external OneDrive sharing per user

When users leave our company, we want to disable external sharing on that user only. In the O365 Admin console there is an option for this. However, the setting is overwritten by the tenant settings.
We need more granular control on external sharing

  10. Refine policy control for file exclusions via MDM / GPO / Portal

Please consider adding an option to control file-type exclusions at a level where we can apply different policies to different groups , device types.

I'll explain , currently our tenant is shared for a large enterprise with a few subsidiaries running off the tenant , we were planning to utilize OneDrive redirection of known folders (Documents / Desktop) , however due to reported problems with PST's and large files , we hoped to exclude OST & PST files from Onedrive.

However exclude settings appear to be tenant wide , it would be preferred to set this policy for a selected…

  11. Encrypt on local hard drive

As a organization we’d like the ability to have the whole local OneDrive for Business folder encrypted, so that even if another administrator logs on, they wouldn’t be able to access the data. We can enable bitlocker for the hard drive but we cannot prevent the scenario with local admins, as they can just take ownership of the user profile folder.

  12. Block Up/Downloading Specific File Types

The "OneDrive for Business Deny List of File Types for Sync" feature was recently released, however it prevents files from being uploaded only when using the OneDrive Sync client. The same files can still be uploaded using the Web View. This means Administrators STILL DON'T have the ability to define a list of file types that will be actively blocked from up/downloading, while Microsoft if claiming so.

  13. Admin Controls for OD4B Sync for total space consumed on PC

We need the ability to control the total amount or % of space consumed on a PC device when sync'ing OD4B content. We are seeing where a user may have a large amount of data in OD4B (1TB+) and on laptops and surface devices this will consume all the available space. Controls that can be managed by the Administrator to limit the amount of space or the ability to sync only the tree structure (like on IOS) is required.

  16. Transfer ownership of a shared folder

How to transfer the ownership of a shared folder? I created and shared one, and want to leave all the files with my friend and disconnect myself from the folder. I want her to become the owner (the folder becoming a natural part of her OneDrive collection). How do I (or we) do that ?

Last week we announced a new feature called Personal Vault that will be available soon for OneDrive consumer accounts. See this blog post for more details.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2019/06/25/onedrive-personal-vault-added-security-onedrive-additional-storage/

We have no plans to bring Personal Vault to our Commercial customers at this time, but continue to make investments in advanced security features that are unique to the Commercial service.

  18. When deleting and O365 Buisness user, make it easy to move the files/folders to another user.

When an employee that uses OneDrive for Business leaves the organization there should be an option to move their files to another employee (superior, replacement, temporary, etc.).

Instead of having to download and then reupload the files to another user, it should be an option during the user deletion to move the files.

We recently added the ability to transfer ownership to another user when deleting a user’s account from AAD from the M365 admin portal. If no entry is provided, the default will transfer to the manager. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/retention-and-deletion

The manager or newly assigned owner will have the ability to sync that content or download and then move to a shared library or their own OneDrive.

  19. Remote wipe of personal OneDrive

Add options to manage computers connected to the account, allowing to delete all content from a lost computer (force remove/delete is required).

Can you please tell us more about what you are looking for? What do you mean by “zero knowledge cloud storage”? Thank you.
