  1. OneDrive Notification when Freezing for Inactivity

    Hi,

    It would be nice to receive a notification when you are about to freeze my OneDrive account for inactivity. Moreover, I was using it. The app is installed on my phone and my laptop. I have files stored, that I some times look at. I suspect you consider me inactive just because I did not change the contents of the folder, but that doesn't mean I am not using it.

  2. Enable Passcode using iOS Files

    Tried accessing OneDrive from iOS Files and it appears a message stating "Files cannot be accessed in this app with passcode enabled" and asked to disable it. I have to cancel the passcode and compromise the security because the iOS files cannot access OneDrive App as well as WhatsApp.

    We need to add the authentication to access OneDrive with passcode enabled.

    ■Description(内容):
    同期クライアントで、公開情報に記載の [同期可能なアイテム数] について、該当のアイテム数を超えたら同期ができないようにしてほしい。

    多数のアイテムを同期しているため、[同期中] [変更を処理しています] などのメッセージのまま、同期が中途半端な状態になると、PC 側とクラウド上のどちらのデータが最新かがわからなくなる。
    あいまいなままでは利用の際に困るので、アイテム数が制限事項に抵触した場合、明確に [アイテム数が多いために同期できない] などのエラー メッセージを表示させ、同期できないようにしてほしい。

    Disable syncing in sync client if “number of items that can be synced” limit, which mentioned in Microsoft official, is exceeded.

    While syncing multiple items simultaneously, we get confused either the latest data is on client or on cloud as syncing process is incomplete state with message stating “Syncing” and “Processing changes”.

    For improvement of usability and manageability, disable syncing when sync item limit is exceeded, warn users with error message “sync item limit exceeded”.

    At “Office 365 URLs and IP address ranges” page, I can easily see the last update date, but it is difficult to find which information was added or deleted.

    現時点の OneDrive for Business では、OneDrive for Business の使用容量が設定値に達した場合の通知が、OneDrive for Business を所有するユーザーにしか届かないため管理者で把握ができない。
    OneDrive for Business の使用容量が設定値に達した場合は、管理者にも通知されるようにして欲しい。

    When users’ OneDrive for Business storage reaches the set storage limit, the notification will be sent to only users, not their admins. That makes it difficult for admins to manage users’ OneDrive for Business storage.

    For improvement of manageability, please notify admins as well when a user’s OneDrive for Business storage reached the set storage limit.

  9. Enhance Restore-SPODeletedSite command

    We have encountered problems with users that left the company then returned after a few months. In a hybrid scenario, with AD on-premise and rest of the O365 in cloud, users returning are provisioned new empty OneDrives. When we attempt to restore their old drives, we cannot do that because the SiteID is already in use. It would be nice to add few flags for the Restore-SPODeletedSite command to enable the override of a current existing SiteID or at least to be able to restore a deleted drive under a different SiteID

    このたび、Office 365 サービス インシデント SP147197 の発生を確認いたしました。
    Microsoft の場合、サービス インシデントが発生した場合はユーザーが確認し、
    問い合わせないと返金処理が行われない。
    他社のクラウド サービスの場合はインシデントの発生時、ユーザーに直接連絡が来て返金対応を行ってくれるが、Microsoft ではそのようなシステムがないため、サービス インシデント発生時に Microsoft 側で返金処理を自動で行ってくれるようにしてほしい。

    Our tenant was affected by the Office 365 Service Incident SP147197.

    For Microsoft product, users have to create inquiry to be refund when service incident is happened, even though other cloud services contact customer directly and proceed the process for refund.

    For improvement of usability, whenever service incident is occurred we would like to see the repayment process triggered by Microsoft, not with refund claim by affected users.

    ライセンスを解除してから 30 日以上経過したユーザーに対して再度ライセンスを付与する際、プロビジョニングが正常に完了しないことにより当該ユーザーの OneDrive for Business 上のデータにアクセスできなくなる可能性があるため、解除してから 30 日以上経過したユーザーに対するプロビジョニングが正しく完了できる機能を実装してほしい。

    ※ 長期休暇の社員が 1 年後に復帰する際など、ライセンスを解除してから 30 日以上経過したユーザーにライセンスを再付与する場合があるため。
    When re-licensing a user who has stopped the license for more than 30 days, the user may not be able to access data on OneDrive for Business if the user fails to finish the provisioning normally.     My Lightroom Catalog is very large, 1GB+, and every time I open and close Lightroom, even if I don't actually change anything, the entire catalog file resyncs to OneDrive

    If you log in to OneDrive from a PC, you tend to remain signed in, yet the ability to remotely log off a device or session is strangely missing. This makes your files vulnerable to access or deletion.

    Other services, such as Google Drive, have this capability.

    アイテム保持ポリシーの "状態" や "ポリシー名" "説明文" を変更した場合は最終変更日が更新された日付となっており、変更した内容によって反映される動作が異なる。

  16. Add the option to exclude file types from being backed up instead of blocking

    We need the ability to exclude files from being synced. Blocking them generates errors and warnings for the end users which freak them out. We either need the ability to silently block file types or just exclude them from syncing. We have this issue specifically with Microsoft Teams generating shortcuts that then get synchronised everywhere else.

  17. Set or change default timezone and region for all users

    There should be the ability to set the timezone and region for all users in a tenant at the admin level.

    At the moment the timezone and region at set to US which makes no sense when the Office 365 tenant is set different.
    It results in the dates being displayed in the wrong format in Excel online documents.

    It's unreasonable to assume a user will go and change this setting.

  18. Folder and File share access - restrict via IP Address

    We would like to assign share access to Folders and Files to specific users that are connecting from specific IP addresses. This can already be done as a whole within sharepoint but this prevents access to other areas of the system.

    We have confidential information that we would like staff to view that can be viewed only from the Company's external IP Address.

  20. Turn off virus detection for Office 365

    n my work, I have to analyse lots of file, maybe they contain virus or malicious software,
    but onedrive client just block it and I have to login onedrive.com and download it mannualy.

    I have searched everywhere in the "Office 365 admin center",
    why there is not a option to turn off the virus detection?

    I have also tried the gragh API and can't download it either, just "malicious detected" returned when I request the download url.
