Central reporting to see which users have synchronisation issues
Central repository or reporting capability to see which users have synchronisation issues
Thank you for the suggestion, we’re actively looking at this one. No timelines to share yet.
As an IT we should be have central managed function to support users problem to sync with their OneDrive
Microsoft pushes OneDrive to be the main productivity and file repo. The administrator should have visibility by report or central management site to view all sync issue and be able to see which client haven't synchronize for 30/60/90/120 Days etc. We as IT moves the responsibility to the users while there is an issue it is our responsibility to the data availability.
This is a real business risk for data availability.

This would really be useful.

We use a client desktop backup tool to bridge this gap, but it would be nice to have a dashboard so we can get rid of the need for this backup tool. It's expensive to cover the "Broken sync" client scenario. Not end of world since another layer of protection is always good, but would be nice to have one less product to maintain.
I highly agree with this feature. I really hope this gets implemented. Shouldn't be hard to do.

I agree that a dashboard is important. I've had to deploy Resilio Sync on top of Office 365 instead of using OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.
However, I think fixing their client and sync engine should be the real priority instead of a dashboard.

Losing data all the time because people don't rwalize the client isn't syncing

Excellent idea while the sync client is so flakey

Staff think they are synching to the cloud when the client has actually failed (common problem on both Mac and Windows). Data loss potential is real.
When looking at users who work in many locations across our organization, it would be helpful to have a centralized dashboard to look at what clients are syncing and include the following information: last time client synchronized, are there files that are failing to upload/download and the status of the client (sync pending, sync complete, etc.).
Great request... Has anyone found a workaround for this? Like parsing the syncdiagnostics.log for the 'changestoprocess' field?
