Shares expiration after X days for all sharing levels (Public, New External, Existing External, ...)
For security reasons, I think it would be interesting to be able to limit all the shares proposed by OneDrive in time.
Today, we can define the number of days after which a share expires only when we configure OneDrive to the most permissive level: Share with everyone.
Why not allow this expiration notion for other levels of sharing?
was there any movement on this request?
This seems be to be in prod before and was taken out?
Any reason why?
Agreed - We need to hand files from one group to another after a specified timeframe and ensure the previous group can no longer edit. This is a pain to handle manually.
Agree. Admin should be able to set the default expiration for sharing within the same company for enterprise and business licenses.
Agree, Preferred configurable on a user level (targeted by admins) and to be overruled on tenant level. its cumbersome for users to go online and identify who they are 'stil(l)' sharing with.
