Change your widget.
Stop putting a "memory" photo on the widget automatically. I hate it and don't want it. I also don't like some coder in California decided what a memory is for me. I also don't want a widget rummaging around in my Photos. It's offensive and an assault on my privacy. I don't need to store my photos in OneDrive. I have other cloud tools to store my photos. What I want from OneDrive is a place to store the items I want to store there and access them where and where I want. I've been doing that with the app on my iPhone, iPad and Mac all along. Basically if it ain't broke, don't try to "fix" it. I sincerely hope that you do not change the app to work like this offensive widget, but I'm afraid you will, according to some things on the web. If you do change it, you might lose a customer, though I suppose Microsoft losing one customer means nothing. . BTW, I know that most people will like this widget, and that's fine. I'm not complaining about its use per se. I'm just talking about my own complaints about it. Let everyone who wants to use it, use it. The operative word being "want." I just want a choice in the matter. Thanks for listening.
