Sharing policy for OneDrive- user defaults?
In order to allow some users to be able to share OneDrive folders with external guest users we have changed the default sharing policy in our Microsoft 365 tenancy from “Existing external users” to “New and existing external users” in the OneDrive Admin center
However, this seems to have proactively changed the OneDrive setting for all existing users from “Only allow sharing with existing guest users in the directory” to “Allow sharing to authenticated users with invitations”
This means we have to go through all the existing users except those that we want to be able to invite new guest users and change their OneDrive setting from “Allow sharing to authenticated users with invitations” to “Only allow sharing with existing guest users in the directory”
Is there a way of setting the default for new users to be “Only allow sharing with existing guest users in the directory”?
