  1. Offer additional storage for one time price rather than a monthly subscription

    There should be additional amounts of storage, perhaps in increments of 10 GB, for fixed, one time costs. Not everyone wants to pay monthly and for me, now I am no longer using OneDrive (which I love) because I can get 100 GB free from other providers or go pay a "lifetime" cost for 1TB of storage. If one drive offered this, I think there would be a lot more users.

    this is better security option to login OneDrive every login user get OTP from Microsoft to his register cell number.

    OneDrive 管理センターにて設定できる [デバイス アクセス] - [モバイル アプリケーション管理] 項目の [アプリのパスコードを必須にする] 機能について、ユーザーやグループ単位での制御可能とする機能の提供を希望します。
    In the OneDrive Admin Center, it is possible to go into Device Access -> Mobile Application Management and find the “Require App Passcode” setting. I would like to be able to specify this setting for specific users or user groups.

  4. you might consider making the 'lock' personalised thru settings or such ....

    from zero (locks instantly) up to 20mins. I'm not sure if security is higher this way or in password protected documents?

    OneDrive for Business の利用を禁止しているユーザーが、Outlook on the web で添付メールの、保存先のプルダウンメニューの選択肢から "OneDrive - テナント名" を選択し保存すると、SharePoint Online のルート サイトのドキュメントライブラリにデータが保存され、他のユーザーがプライベートなデータの閲覧が可能になるため改善してほしい。

    Users who are not allowed utilize One Drive for Business can saved files attached on Outlook on the web with choosing “OneDrive – Tenant Name” from pulldown, and those files are saved at Document library on the SharePoint Online root site. Those saved files include private one, and they are visible…

  7. Shared Links sent to guest users require #EXT#

    Sending OneDrive links to a user that has existing guest access in MS Teams. Access seems to be granted to "EXAMPLE_domain.com#EXT#@OURTENANT.com" instead of "EXAMPLE@domain.com". User A enters their correct email address (which is entered accurately by User B who sent the link) and is greeted with "We couldn't find an account with that username." Users A & B have no way to know why error appears.

  11. Saving in OneDrive phone app should be accessible in OneDrive on my laptop. Why doesn't it share between both platforms?

    When I save something in OneDrive on my phone, why can't I find or access the same document in OneDrive on my computer? I thought that was the point.

  12. Report on what version of OneDrive users are connecting with

    A report that lists the user's UPN as well as the version of the sync client they are connected with would be extremely useful. With this report we could easily identify users that are still using the old sync client so we can target them for upgrading to the newest client.

  13. Allow _vti_ in folder and file names

    One drive is used to store all sorts of file, not just productivity documents. If you want to store an eclipse work space or a website, in OFB you can't because of this restriction. This makes competing products look more attractive. Why are these blocked and can that restriction be removed?

  14. Forget about features, first get the basics working

    Forget about new features, first get the basics working. Looks like the service is severely flawed on fundamentals. Even email to support feature is not working for customers to post their problems. The dialog is just stuck in progress while posting the message.

    I have many files in my One Drive that show up but do not open. I am afraid if I have lost critical data because I trusted on One Drive. Please restore all the files immediately.

    In our organization, we use OneDrive for Business on an everyday basis.
    We have been thinking about exporting the “Mail Activity” and “OneDrive File” items in the Office 365 reports in the Admin Center via PowerShell, however currently no such functionality exists for individual items.
    I would like the option to export these items from the reports…

    Enhance the "Block syncing of specific file types" to stop the ODFB Sync client from downloading blocked file types FROM the tenant to the client PC.

    Example:

    I have blocked MP4 files via the "Block syncing of specific file types" at https://admin.onedrive.com.

    I put an MP4 file into the root of my OneDrive for Business folder on my local PC to send it to my O365 tenant.

    The Sync client correctly blocks this and makes me remove the MP4 file from my local PC.


    Open https://tenant-my.sharepoint.com and upload the MP4 file via the browser to the site.

  19. Tighter supervision for the support team

    I tried to report a simple bug through the support (request 1500877 - are there other ways of reporting a bug?) and it has been a ridiculous experience: they continuously replied with nonsensical **** to bounce me off to the Office support or just make me give up. After 20 useless mail exchanges I gave up. A mix of negligence and incompetence never seen before.

  20. stop annoying "follow up" calls

    got a call today from a microsoft rep asking me if my onedrive syncing problem had been resolved. So I checked. No, I said, looks like it's still having the problem. Does he address the problem? NO!!!! "We're not trained in onedrive," he says, "you have to go back to email support." WHAT!!!??? Why does microsoft have someone call to check on me who's not trained in the thing they're checking on?? Oh, yeah. microsoft is evil.
