Doesn't matter. If they can't even honor their promise to paying customers of unlimited storage, what's the point!
Yes this is unbelievable. I signed up and paid for Office on that promise. It's still up there today- and hundreds of news outlets and blogs parroted the announcement. Yet there's no retraction or public acknowledgement there never was unlimited storage with paid Office 365 subscription.
MS answer techs were publicly promising don't worry, when you hit 1tb you get bumped automatically. At the same time if you privately chat with accounts and billing or tech support they tell you there is no unlimited service, just 1tb.
That would be nice. I expected all files to be unlimited after I read the official announcement and paid for an Office 365 subscription. But now I can't save a single Word doc to the cloud. I switched to writing in Google Docs.
For those who subscribe to Office we were promised unlimited storage all together. Unfortunately we didn't get it. I just hit 1tb and ran out of space. Careful about giving up on Google- I've got months of Microsoft Word docs because I switched for the unlimited storage that never materialized. Now I have to go back to google.
