It's PAINFUL to set up a new PC with several hundred GB of files in OneDrive. Some ISPs cap data (Comcast caps at 300GB in some local markets) so it may take a couple of months or more for OneDrive to sync to a new PC. Please don't make me wait 3 months for my files to sync!
I have a complete, fully synced copy on my old PC. Why can't I copy that locally (even just once). When OneDrive starts syncing, why does it assume any local copy is NOT the same as the cloud copy? Can't you hash or otherwise check the files (name, date/time, size, and ask me if I wish to assume the local copy is the same, even if this is just a "one time" thing during setup).
