Thanks for all the feedback. We’ve started the initial work on this one and we’ll update the status with more details as we get closer to knowing when we expect to ship this.

The icon for the personal OneDrive is shown correctly in the sidebar. The icon for the synced SharePoint doc library reverts back to a standard folder icon in the sidebar.
It would be nice if the correct icon would be shown so these kind of folder can be visually differentiated from normal folders in the sidebar.
We have been working on several memory leak fixes recently. One of the main ones was fixed with Standalone version 19.086.0502.0008 and Store version 19.103.0527.0003. If you are not on one of those builds or higher, please update first. If you are still experiencing issues after updating, let us know. We will continue to focus on performance improvements, including memory utilization.Thomas Heinzmann commented

We’re aware and are planning to address this. Thank you!
We’re looking at two related pieces of this:
1) For OneDrive for Business, enable shared folders to be added to the root of the OneDrive folder at all (like in OneDrive Personal).
2) For OneDrive across business and personal, enable shared folders to be placed into subfolders.
We appreciate your patience; this is significant engineering work given the architecture of the products and our diverse customer base, spanning individuals to small businesses to multi-national enterprises to government agencies. We aim to address this while maintaining our industry-leading security, privacy, and compliance commitments.
Thank you for the continued feedback.
