At Ignite 2019 we announced that we are working on this. No timelines to share yet but we’re looking forward to provide a way to understand sync issues/status!

I agree that a dashboard is important. I've had to deploy Resilio Sync on top of Office 365 instead of using OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.
However, I think fixing their client and sync engine should be the real priority instead of a dashboard.

I agree. Get off the public cloud and sync your files with Resilio Sync. If you really need to store your files in the cloud for backup, consider a service like CrashPlan or BackBlaze. This is what I use personally.
That said, I have to use OneDrive because my clients use it so I have to learn how to fix all their sync problems myself. If it wasn't for that, I would've dumped it a long time ago. One of the worst sync engines ever.
