This also makes more sense for the 1 TB subscription. Having so much data on the cloud makes for a bad experience if you have to wait for the info to be downloaded each time you use it. Having 1TB synced to your laptop is not that easy now that everyone is switching to SSD. 1.5 TB SSDs are not that cheap and some, like mac, do not have the ability to upgrade. A NAS is the best solution for upgrading device storage since it caters to many devices in the home network.
Having the ability to store the OneDrive folder on a LAN connected NAS, or even a removable HardDrive since it is easy to augment storage for a laptop with an external HDD, would make people more interested in buying subscriptions for OneDrive, since it would make it more useful to them.Anonymous supported this idea ·
