I have had an active Microsoft Groove membership for over a year and this membership gave me 100GB of OneDrive space, to which I have used 90GB of said storage. Upon calling Xbox Support to discuss my Groove membership ( I was having issues
accessing my content) the agent said to cancel the membership and re establish it.

The agent (Dianna) cancelled the membership without telling me that I would lose my 100GB storage which I have had for the duration of my Groove Membership.

The cancellation was confirmed. I discovered I had lost my 100GB storage and was down to 5GB (I was getting storage warnings every single time I booted my PC) I then renewed my membership, in the hopes everything would go back to normal.

It didn’t... I got access to all my Groove content straight away yes... but where is my 100GB OneDrive space...

An Xbox Support agent cancelled my membership, to which I had to re establish and now my 100 GB storage has gone....

Kindly explain to me that if I did not have this 100 GB storage how can I be 90GB over the storage limit ....

I need a prompt reply as my data is at risk of being deleted purely based on an agents negligence

This is a problem that needs addressing... an Xbox agent cancelled my membership costing me 100GB OneDrive space, I need that back, I keep getting storage warnings and my data will get deleted.

If the agent had said prior to the cancellation that I would potentially lose my OneDrive space I would have declined, but she didn’t so I am going to safely say that there has been a violation of policy somewhere...
