I just don't understand why the functional header we had before was replaced with this new mess. Why would I want all this wasted space with the black bar and then empty space around the white toolbar ...the old design was much simpler and left more room for my content.

For the most part this is a stupid and ignorant suggestion. It would be much better for Microsoft to improve OneDrive to avoid using more than 2GB of memory and remain a 32-bit application since those inherently use less memory because of 32-bit rather than 64-bit pointers. I really don't want OneDrive to use more than 2GB of my RAM. I want my RAM allocated to actively run apps.
