Wanted to provide an update here: this is something we’re planning on doing, but don’t have a timeframe to share yet

I have to totally agree with this suggestion. I would change the leftmost menu (now reserved for ONEDRIVE>Files-Recent-Photos...) to display folder structure. Shortcuts for recent files, documents, photos and shared files could be placed elsewhere.

Actually, it's Google (deliberately) doesn't make its products available on all platforms. For example in Windows Phone (WP) Store, you can not find a single Google product app (Gmail, Youtube, etc) that would be officially released by Google and not a third-party.

Meanwhile, Microsoft's OneDrive and Outlook(.com) mail app are all available - not only on WP, but also in ios and android.

It is actually Google who refuses to make its services available on all platforms so it is incorrect and ill-informed to state otherwise. Have a nice day.

As you can see from my previous post, you can not be absolutely sure that this is Microsoft false.
Good luck and a lot of patience in your life.

First of all, the same thing was happening to me. The catch is the way you open Office files, stored in OneDrive. I stopped getting this error after I started to open files this was: I Onedrive's web interface, right click a file and select "open in word" - if you have the 2013 version of course. Then, in Word, after I'm done with editing, I just hit CTRL+S / Save and it gets uploaded to Onedrive. When the progress bar (below in Word) disappears, you can close the files and it is saved in cloud. Errors like this still rarely pop-up, but mainly when i'm careless and open a files, accidentally change it and close without saving

Maybe you should first check in what order the files are placeds on your phone. That means, alphabetically, by date, by size, etc. Then, after uploading them to OneDrive, click the top of the desired column (name/last changed/size) to get the same ararngement.

We’ve rolled out an update which includes support for PDF files, images, audio and other file formats. This update doesn’t yet include support for video files but we’re working on it and will have more to share soon!
