Agreed. We're also desperate for this functionality.
Major oversight. As a developer, I wouldn't fathom giving the user the ability to create something in one my business applications without being able to delete it.
Text highlighter tool also has other issues, such as you can keep highlighting over already highlighted areas which progressively darkens it. This doesn't seem like it would be "by design", unless for some reason Microsoft is trying to replicate the downsides of physical highlighters.
EDIT: Found that if you don't have any of the annotation tools selected and simply click the highlighted text, a "deletE" option will appear above it. Very subtle and definitely not very good user experience design in my opinion.
I agree. Was attempting to use OneDrive for our roaming laptops that come and go from the network. I'm not able to "disable" redirection, as I have GPO's higher up that enable it. To disable direction I need to explicitly set to redirect to the local user profile, but OneDrive still treats that as redirection. I'd have to create a whole new GPO and repeat all of our organisations policies for this one set of computers if I wanted OneDrive to redirect "known" folders.
Seems very half-baked for something that's been around for so long. Disapointing. Seems to be a trend with Microsoft and a lot of other companies these days. Everything is half done. It's like a kid with ADHD not able to properly finish anything.
