I encountered a similar problem, but MS OneDrive team was very helpful in fixing it (Though it took a day to identify the actual cause). I respect them. I suggest that they provide better instructions about the Personal Vault, especially one that cautions us to add files progressively within the timing period. Beyond that, I suggest providing three toggle buttons so we can select a timeout period of 20 minutes, 60 minutes or 240 minutes. That way the Personal Vault will not be accidentally left open which would cause new complaints. I also suggest that they add a procedure to HELP so many users can fix the problem themselves without having to contact the OneDrive team. The procedure that worked for me began with checking the box for hidden files in View, renaming the exposed folder, then clicking on OneDrive in the taskbar to get files to sync. I hope that helps others.
