Hi everyone! As to this day we still have Microsoft having clearly NO interest in developing any software solution for Macintosh.
There are software solutions to our problem though!
The best applications I could find which are compatible with Onedrive(minds-his-own)Business are as following:
SynchMate (Paid) - Perfectly syncs specific folders from an external, internal, network or whatever drive you like, it has no limits, you can configure any possible sync scenario.
Mountain Duck (Paid) - Syncs your ondrive service (or any other service for that matter) to any folder you'd like.
Cyberduck (Free) - enables you to mount the onedrive cloud as a drive to your mac, hence using it as an "external drive", which can also be used for time machine purposes (creating a sparse bundle file -within that mounted drive- which can be mounted thus separately and to which time machine can save a backup) all while eating none of your local space
ExpanDrive (Paid) - same as Cyberduck while adding an offline function, meaning all data you want to add to the mounted cloud service will be saved on a local temp folder until internet connection is established and the files can be uploaded - especially useful for people with non-constant internet connection.
